PORTS OF ANGOLA

LUANDA PORT

The Port of Luanda is located at 8º47' S latitude and 13º14' E longitude, in the sheltered bay of Luanda, a place with excellent natural conditions, weak waves and calm winds. Access is very easy with the bay entrance about 1.5 miles wide. It is the main port in Angola, handling more than 70% of Angolan imports and exports. The port has 2738 mts of berth, divided into 7 terminals + 1 logistics platform to support the oil industry.

LOBITO PORT

The port of Lobito is located at 12º20' S latitude and 13º34' E longitude, in the bay of Lobito and with the natural protection of its famous sandbank. Angola's main port in the past, largely due to the fact that it was the ocean terminal of the important Benguela Railway, access to Rep.Dem countries. from Congo and Zambia. The port has 1122 mts of berth, divided into 2 zones and working from 07:00 to 24:00.

NAMIBE PORT

The Port of Namibe is located at 15º12' S latitude and 12º08' E longitude, being the third port in Angola in terms of movement. Former Moçâmedes, this city is bathed by waters rich in fishing, which combined with the proximity of the province of Huíla with its lands of great agricultural potential, allows us to foresee important developments in the future for this port. The port has 870 mts of berth, divided into 3 zones, the largest of which is 480 mts long.

CABINDA PORT

The Port Complex of Cabinda, or simply Port of Cabinda, is a set of Angolan port terminals located in the municipality of Cabinda, in the province of Cabinda. It is located in the bay of Cabinda, which is connected to the Atlantic Ocean. The Port of Cabinda was designed as an important center of development and of great attraction, to boost the economic and business growth of Cabinda, as well as the region in which it is located, and given the geographical discontinuity with the rest of the territory of the Republic of Angola. It offers stowage services, supplies, repairs, tugs and pilotage.

AMBOIM PORT

The Port of Cuanza Sul, also called Amboim Port, is an Angolan port located in the city of Porto Amboim, in the province of Cuanza Sul. It is located in Quissonde Bay, which is connected to the Atlantic Ocean.The port belongs to the Angolan government, which is responsible for its administration through the public company Empresa Portuária do Amboim. The Empresa Portuária do Amboim was established to manage the license for loading and unloading terminals, as well as the passenger terminal.
